THE MIX THAT MADE US FAMOUS
A perfectly balanced soilless media to bring growers peace of mind! Zen blend is our most versatile formula, flexible to indoor, outdoor and greenhouse growing environments. It is a light, fast-draining mix that is very low in nitrogen and other nutrients, making it safe for clones and seedlings, and optimal for gardeners who prefer to control their fertilizing regime. Due to the low nutrient content in Zen Blend, a light feeding program is recommended as soon as new roots are established to achieve optimal results.
Also Balanced With:
Low Salt Coco Coir, Sphagnum Peat Moss, Perlite, OMRI Certified Compost and Pumice, lightly amended with Premium Worm Castings, Seabird Guano, Kelp Meal, Fish Bone Meal, Soybean Meal, Crab Meal, Feather Meal, Live Earth Humates, Alfalfa Meal, Glacial Rock Dust, Gypsum, Volcano Bat Guano and Langbeinite.
We start with low salt coco coir and add peat moss and perlite for pH control and fast drainage to promote rapid root development with increased air availability. We add microbe rich compost, forest humus, and pumice to give it body and hold moisture between watering intervals; then we add a complete spectrum of organic and natural amendments. Zen Blend is a cococoir, peat, and perlite blend primarily with a balanced load of organic and natural ingredients that we recommend for seedlings, young starts, and hydroponics in soilless media, and is perfect for starting a light feeding schedule as soon as starts establish new roots. Our customers in southern Oregon and northern California have been using Zen Blend with Outstanding Results!
